Health Benefit Choice Plus Program
Under this program the human resource contact determines which problems or issues Health Benefit Advocate will handle. It allows for flexibility in the utilization of human resource personnel. This program allows for the HR department to handle the benefit issues that are within their comfort level and allow the advocate to take on the tough problems. Under the Choice Plus program the following services are provided to employees that are insured through the employer's health benefits:
- Advocacy services are purchased on a per insured life per month rate
- The employer is the gatekeeper for employee access to an advocate
- Human Resources identifies the need for employee advocacy and approves the utilization of an advocate
- Quarterly reports are provided to the employer including utilization and incidents of insurance delivery trends
- Employees will have electronic access to HBA Advocacy Education Guide
